If there were no male heir to Bruce, his brother Edward and his male heirs would succeed. The only
child of Bruce was Marjorie who died in child birth, after a fall from a horse; the surviving infant of
the Princess later became Robert II.  Marjorie was a decendant of Malcolm, and her husband,Walter,
was a decendant of Banquo.  From their marriage came a great line of Kings and a Queen. Rumor
has it Robert II was the first child of a c-section. This whole story relates to Macduff's line about
being from his mother's womb untimly ripped.
